Film made by assembling GIFs from my reference library of different recurring shots across the vampire landscape. These undead loops are our contemporary silent film - the narrative is in the rhythm of the image which is relentlessly reproduced and shared. They are used in communication as a way to say ‘this is how I feel’: an emotially amplified and relational gesture which fuses us with a dislocated moment in cinema.
When shared or, as below, projected in public space, it adopts the soundscape, slipping into our augmented environment.
